Fall detector is a device that detects the fall of a person and it has been developed to save the life of an elderly person who is more prone to fall. Uncountable number of cases has been reported about the fall of elderly person which is dangerous. From epidemiological data it is propounded that fall is the main cause of extended periods of stay in the hospital. It can be managed at the point of occurrence if situation is reported immediately. These network sensors like press buttons in chair and camera, sense the fall of the person if the kinematics of the person changes. Some work on the head displacement principle, as during the fall head is displaced towards the ground that is sensed by these sensors and it sends the information to the care givers.
